Arranging a Funeral
To arrange a funeral speak to your funeral director who will liaise with us on your behalf to arrange a date and time. A member of the clergy will be in touch to arrange to visit you to discuss the details of the service. Our aim is always to make a funeral service personal and appropriate for you and your family.
Funeral Services in Church
You are welcome to request a funeral in church – there are no restrictions on who is eligible. This service may be followed by burial in the churchyard (subject to eligibility) or, alternatively, the service maybe followed by cremation at a local crematorium.
Funeral Services at the Crematorium
The parish priest is able to conduct the service for you at a Crematorium chapel of your choosing.
Burial in the Churchyard
Eligibility for this is restricted to those who live in the parish at the time of death ,or until very recently if they have been in hospital or residential care, or for those who have been regular members of the church and on the church Electoral Roll).

Internment of Ashes
The eligibility for this is the same as for burial (see above) though consideration will be given to those who have a long standing close link with the church and parish.
How much does it cost?
There is a statutory fee for a funeral service, services at the crematorium and for burials and burials of ashes. Your funeral director will organise this payment for you.
