Rudford Retreats

Allowing ourselves space for God

Come aside to spend time with God in the quiet beauty of Rudford, a place of prayer and worship for centuries.

Rudford Retreats provide an opportunity to give space for God in our lives; to still ourselves, listen for God, and share in quiet fellowship with others.

Each day is shaped around a passage of scripture which is offered as a starting point for reflection and prayer.  Drinks are served on arrival and later in the morning; and a simple lunch provided. You may wish to share in conversation with others during these times or continue in quiet.

Each retreat stands alone. Some people may wish to come occasionally and others more regularly. The programme of each day follows the same pattern, allowing us to be refreshed by the rhythm of prayer, fellowship and quietness.

Some kind comments left by visitors:

“Thankful for the warmth of the welcome, the space and the hospitality. Thank you for also sharing of yourselves. Precious time.”

“A period of rest and peace and to be alone with God. I feel very blessed to have been here.”

“Hospitality 5 star on Retreat Advisor!”

“So lovely to come “away” and be ministered to both spiritually and physically. Excellent talks – give us things to start us thinking. Lovely food too – thanks for accommodating those of us with dietary needs! This is my third time and I come with such a sense of expectation, both of meeting with God and others.”
