Visiting Highnam Church

directions

Church Opening

We recognise that Holy Innocents is a very special church, with a spectacular interior. Much as we would like this church to be accessible every day, because the church is isolated from the rest of the village and it has an elaborate frescoed interior, it is highly vulnerable to vandalism. For this reason, it is generally locked. However, the Church is normally open on the afternoons of the first Sunday of the month from the beginning of April to the end of September, and on a number of other occasions, subject to the Church not being used for other purposes.

Booking the Church

The Church has a fine interior and acoustic quality. We are always happy to host concerts and other appropriate cultural events. If you would like to discuss your ideas, please complete an EVENT BOOKING FORM with details of what you have in mind, email this to inbox@highnamchurch.org and we will get back to you.

You can also join the Friends of Highnam Church for a closer involvement with the church.
